Aaron Chesnut is the Senior Director of Quality Assurance and MSAT (Manufacturing Science And Technology) at PMI BioPharma Solutions. In this role, he is responsible for all quality and engineering/operations related functions for the organization.
Prior to joining PMI, Aaron has worked in the pharmaceutical/biotech industry for the last 18 years with Genentech/Roche, Allergan, Biogen, and Baxter Bioscience. He has worked in a variety of roles including leadership positions in engineering/operations, clinical operations, and site head of quality. During his tenure, Aaron has performed a large variety of clinical and commercial activities including the licensure/launch of numerous products. In addition, he has successfully supported the design, build, qualification, and licensure of two separate large-scale pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.
Aaron received his Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry from the University of California. Following this, he spent three years with NASA supporting a research team that studies the genomic impact of high energy ionizing radiation experienced during space travel.
